Job Description

Review sophisticated commercial agreements for allocation of liability, intellectual-property rights, privacy obligations, termination risk, and negotiation strategy. Assess whether AI-generated redlines protect the client while remaining consistent with the transaction context and market practice. Identify conflicting provisions, missing operational details, ambiguous remedies, and downstream obligations that require clarification. Explain the difference between legal exposure, business tradeoffs, and positions that should be escalated during negotiation. Remote, project-based contract work. Scope and hours depend on project matching; the listed hourly range applies to matched work.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate advanced domain tasks and AI-generated responses for factual accuracy and professional judgment.
• Apply current standards, methods, and risk considerations from law & legal services.
• Document errors, edge cases, and the reasoning behind an ideal response.
• Collaborate asynchronously with Alpheva's research and evaluation teams.

Required Qualifications

• Active bar membership and 6+ years negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Experience with SaaS, technology transactions, data licensing, or enterprise procurement
• Ability to distinguish legal risk, business risk, and market-standard compromise positions
