Job Description

Evaluate advanced AI-generated implementations, debugging strategies, architecture decisions, and technical explanations across production software systems. Review code and designs for correctness, security, performance, maintainability, observability, and alignment with stated product constraints. Identify subtle defects, unsafe assumptions, weak tests, unnecessary complexity, and recommendations that would fail under real production conditions. Provide reference solutions and review comments that demonstrate staff- or principal-level technical judgment without overengineering. Remote, project-based contract work. Scope and hours depend on project matching; the listed hourly range applies to matched work.

• Evaluate advanced domain tasks and AI-generated responses for factual accuracy and professional judgment.
• Apply current standards, methods, and risk considerations from technology & computing.
• Document errors, edge cases, and the reasoning behind an ideal response.
• Collaborate asynchronously with Alpheva's research and evaluation teams.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Staff, principal, architect, or equivalent technical-leadership scope
• Expert code-review judgment across correctness, security, performance, and maintainability
